Best Restaurants in Saint Tropez

1. LES MOULINS DE RAMATUELLE

Fabulous restaurant that’s located between town and the beach. It’s al fresco under these amazing pine and olive trees. Would highly recommend booking dinner here (spend your lunches at the beach, obv).

2. LE CLUB 55

This is such an iconic and authentic beach club in Saint Tropez, everyone should go at least once. If you rent beds sun beds, it’s very chill - there isn’t any music over the speakers and note that you have to bring your own towel or you’ll have to buy one at the boutique (which is quite expensive). For lunch, the menu is simple and they usually have live music during the second seating.

3. GIGI RAMETUELLE

If you’re looking for a place to relax in a stunning setting, then I would highly, highly recommend Gigi. It’s just off the beach and there’s a pool where you can rent beds, as well as a bar and a gorgeous restaurant. Whoever designed this is absolutely amazing. It’s kind of like the richest campsite that you’ve ever been to? I think they have music at lunch, but no one dances on tables like some of the other beach clubs.

4. CHEZ MADELEINE

Best place for oysters! It’s tucked in this tiny corner with bar stools and a few tables near the fish market. I love going first thing around 11AM when it’s full of handsome older men smoking cigars while their wives are shopping.

5. KINUGAWA

This is a sexy Japanese restaurant that’s just outside of town. Definitely book dinner (not lunch) and don’t book before 9PM (this is a rule for all dinners if I haven’t mentioned it already). The food is fabulous, great vibe and good DJ. It’s also so gorgeous eating under the stars.

6. LOULOU RAMATUELLE

Argueably the best beach club (in my opinion) which is probably why it’s so fucking hard to get a reservation. For any beach clubs btw, ask your hotel to book them for you - you’ll have much better luck. Definitely rent sun loungers here (they are 60 EUR) and then make your lunch booking for 3/3:30. Turns into a party late afternoon and it’s SO fun.

7. LE CAFE

Fun and lively spot for dinner in Place de Lices. We booked a 10PM seating this year (which is their second service) and it turns into a party. Don’t be afraid to dress up a little more here!

8. SENEQUIER

I’ve actually never eaten here before but Senequier is another iconic spot that is right in the port. I love to go in the morning for a coffee and watch the yachts come in, or late afternoon for an aperol spritz and a bask in the sun.

9. LES GRANIERS

If you’re looking for a beach club that’s a little closer to town and a little more chill - I would recommend this one. The tables are right on the sand, it’s a little more casual than the other beach clubs and the food is incredible.

10. VERDE BEACH

Ok so this is probably the runner up of my favourite beach clubs because it’s so much fun. The beds are average but the lunch menu is amazing (the halloumi and the avocado tuna tartare specifically) and it gets absolutely lit in the afternoon - everyone will be dancing on tables.

11. INDIE BEACH

This beach club just opened last year and I have nothing but great reviews. Great beds, great service and we actually ended up getting a table right behind the DJ booth, which was so good.

12. BEEFBAR

I’ve only ever had dinner here - Beefbar is at the Hotel Lou Pinet which is gorgeous. The food is FABULOUS (even if you don’t like steak, the veggie options are delish) and there’s lots of truffle options..

13. CUCINA BY BYBLOS

Great Italian restaurant outside at Hotel Byblos. This one never disappoints.

14. CHERRY

Great dinner spot right in town. The inside is very cute, lots of red velvet and I think that they have a DJ that comes on a little later. It’s a great date spot or place for a more intimate dinner, I would recommend going on a Wednesday or Thursday night.

15. LE TIGRR

Best place in town to watch the sunset, hands down. They’ve also got great sushi and great cocktails.

16. LA RESERVE A LA PLAGE

This beach club is very beautiful and it has amazing beach beds - they are very luxe. The food is also delicious, I had this exact dish and it was incredible (+2 glasses of rose of course).

@lareserve_plage

17. MATSUHISA AT CHATEAU DE MESSARDIERE

This is a Nobu restaurant with one of most stunning views in St Tropez that looks over the hotel grounds and the sea. Book early enough so that you can still watch the sun go down. Bonus if someone else pays.
