Most beautiful hotels for lunch in the French Riviera

HOTEL LE ROCHES ROUGES

I am such a fan of all the Beaumier hotels and I think this is one of their best. It’s located just outside of Saint Raphael with a gorgeous pool that looks like it’s built into the rocks. I’ll often go for lunch if I’m en route to Saint Tropez or you can also rent a sun lounger and hang out by the pool for the day ( just make sure you call ahead of time to ask).

CLUB DAUPHIN AT GRAND-HOTEL DU CAP-FERRAT

This will forever be my favourite hotel in the Cote d’Azur. The best place for lunch is at their beach club, Club Dauphin. Walk down through the grounds, have lunch by the pool then put your bikini on and go for a dip in the ocean.

THE MAYBOURNE RIVIERA

My best friend and I first went here for lunch when we were in Monaco for the tennis last Spring. We were so taken back by the view and had such a great lunch that we decided to order a second bottle of wine and change our flights to the next day. It overlooks all of Monaco and you can see as far as Italy on the other side. There’s a nice restaurant inside but I would recommend to get a table by the pool - it’s the best.

HOTEL DU CAP EDEN ROC

Obviously this hotel is iconic and has been even more so since Sofia Richie got married here last year. However, it’s very very expensive, therefore my favourite thing to do is go for a bottle or wine and snacks before you go to dinner somewhere. I think we went around 4/5 last year (golden hour) and it was perfect.

HOTEL DU COVENT

I don’t typically choose Nice as a destination in the Cote d’Azur but when I was staying in Villefranche last year - I heard about the opening of this new hotel. It’s an old monastery that is located at the top of these one thousand steps, therefore it’s super quiet and the setting is GORGEOUS. Very “Soho House meets the South of France”.

CHATEAU BERNE

I actually went to Chateau Berne on an incredible first date for lunch one Summer and I absolutely loved it - it’s SO beautiful and their rose is incredibly easy to drink. Highly recommend booking lunch on the terrace, the food is amazing. You can book a tour of the cellar or you can just take yourself for a stroll through the vines. There’s also a cute village nearby called Lorgues.

TUBA CLUB

Probably one of my favourite places in Marseille for a long lunch in the heat. It’s a little on the expensive side for how casual it is - but the food is great (I had the tuna carpaccio), it’s secluded from the city and you can go for a dip in the ocean as soon as you’re finished eating.
